Dear Friends,
I have found few admirable qualities in George Tenet. The recent media spotlight on him has revealed him to be self-serving and insincere. That said, I pulled a great quote from his book off of realclearpolitics.com this morning regarding the nation's attitude towards terror.
"It was never a question of a known, imminent threat; it was about an unwillingness to risk surprise."
Exactly.
