Dear Friends,
I have never read a book by Mr. Halberstam. This morning however, I was reading one of the many "How to do well in Law School" books that have been given to me while watching Sportscenter. A segment of the program was dedicated to Mr. Halberstam, and I was struck by the breadth of his reach. In fact, I looked back down at the page of my book only to see Mr. Halberstam quoted in the center of that page. Any journalist who makes headlines on ESPN and appears in the text of law school preparatory books truly deserves an Ode or Requiem. I wish I was a skilled enough poet to offer one up to him.
